Batman R.I.P. is still continuing today. I have a stack of comics that I have to review and it seems like it is just never-ending. Last I counted there were 15 comics that I had in the review queue and lord knows the later in the month this gets the harder it will be to hammer it down. Right now we have Detective Comics #858 up at the plate and boy has Detective Comics been interesting with Hush hunting down the Batman in a very sadistic way.

Right at the start of this issue things get serious as Hush sneaks up on an unsuspecting Catwoman and they do the dance of death with her before he stabs her in the stomach and takes her away. There has to be a big surprise because Catwoman rips off the bandages of Hush and recognizes the face. The rest of the chapter pretty much is filler as Batman has to fight a young boy who has a fear of bats is injected with Scarecrows fear toxin and Banes steroid serum. He fights this kid and scarecrow before finding out what Hush has done to Selina Kyle; he has removed her heart…
